Purpose of using social media

To provide users with an overview of Osaka City University news, events, research outcomes, etc., as well as articles from the Osaka City University website, and to deepen users understanding and interest in Osaka City University.

Management

While managing the official Osaka City University accounts, we will comply with laws, public policy, and the rules established by the corporation, and respect third party rights and privacy including copyrights, intellectual property rights, and portrait rights. In addition, we will take strict measures to delete comments and replies involving slander and violations of human rights.

We generally do not reply by direct messages. Please note that we cannot reply from the official accounts to opinions or inquiries to Osaka City University.
We may share, retweet, like, and follow at the discretion of the Public Relations Section.

Intellectual property rights

Intellectual property rights of photos, illustrations, audio, videos and articles posted by the accounts belong to Osaka City University and/or to those with legitimate rights. In addition, the copyrights of user's comments, etc. belong to the user who made the post, but by posting, the user agrees to grant Osaka City University the right to use the posted content free of charge and non-exclusively (including for processing, duplication, translation, etc.), and the user cannot exercise copyright cases, etc. against Osaka City University.
